History

This independent infantry company was another of the hasty organizations formed in Cincinnati in the fall of 1862, during the alarm about the safety of the city, and was among the few of them that was mustered into the United States service. On the 4th of October, 1862, it was mustered out by reason of the expiration of the term of enlistment.
